**TURK**

Please meet *Turk*! He’s a  4 year old male purebred German Shepherd Dog that is in need of a forever home. He is not in a shelter, as of yet, but has till the end of the month to find a new home or that is where he is headed.

His current owner purchased him from a breeder in Germany and had Turk flown in when he was 8 weeks old. He has lived with the same family for his whole life and is now facing the dilemma of having to start over in a new environment. Although Turk was raised with another neutered male German Shepherd, it has only been recently that he has gotten into fracas’ with him. The couple if expecting their first child and does not want to risk Turk and their other dog getting into a fight with the baby around. With proper training and experienced,dedicated owners Turk will flourish in a home with other dogs.

He does phenomenal with people and children. They have had him around their friends two daughters whom are 5 and 10 yrs old. He tends to bark when he hears someone at the front door but once they are in the house he is extremely friendly. Therefore, he would make an excellent watch dog! He is very well behaved and knows his commands. He walks very well on the leash and loves to be around people.

He is currently living in Monmouth, New Jersey and is neutered and up to date on all shots and vaccines. He was most likely the runt of the litter because he is on the smaller side at only 80 lbs. He will come with all his vet records and paperwork from the breeder.

Turk is such a gorgeous young boy. I’m really hoping someone living alone or with a family will give him the loving forever home he deserves and needs so desperately.

Hi Everyone, my name is Diesel.  I’m a 6 year old sweet and loving Amstaff.  My birthday is October 15, I love being with people and going for long walks and playing ball in the yard.  I love taking a bath.  I am very good with my  human 19 month old human sister, I let her pet me and play with me and I am very gentle when taking treats from her.  My pet parent is pregnant now and doesn’t have any time for me anymore…  My favorite foods are roasted chicken and bagels (I even know the words!)  I am neutered, up to date with vaccines and I visit the groomer once a month.  I’m terrified of thunder storms.  I’m looking for a place to rest my head and call home…..forever.  If you would like to meet me please call Betty at 718-948-7765.  Thank you.

Hi Everyone, this is Diamond!  She is our three year old Rottie girl and she is looking for her forever home.  Diamond was surrendered to a high kill shelter because of landlord issues but she is safe in foster now!  Diamond is up to date with vaccines, spayed, housetrained and gets along with other dogs.  Diamond loves to go for long walks and loves people.  If you would like to meet Diamond please call Betty at 718-948-7765.

Hi!  My name is Cassie and I want to play ball!  I am three year old female American Pittie girl who is looking for a best friend!  I am spayed, up to date with vaccines and I am housetrained.  I am a very happy girl and I love to play.  I was found stray and no one came to find me.  I need an owner who will play with me but also train me to be perfect on the leash!  I am a very friendly girl and I like other dogs.  I am great fun to be with, I would be your perfect running partner!  The shelter staff says I can run almost as fast as a greyhound!  I am medium sized at 47 lbs., I am lively and playful and after playtime I love to take a nap with my ball!  I love playing ball so so much!  If you would like to meet me please call my foster mom, Betty at 718-948-7765.
